Guided selling
Guided selling is a process that can help potential buyers to choose the products that best fulfill their needs and guide them to purchase. It also helps companies actively guide their customers to a buying decision and increase conversion rates.
Based on the data we can gather about customers, we are able to display them fully personalized communication and personalized offers.
Example of use - Automotive industry
Challenge
The main goal of our customer from the automotive industry was to segment their new clients to better understand their purchase goals. We created a guided survey on the website for new customers. On the basis of a specific answer, we can carefully target selected groups of customers.
In the first step, users who have visited a website chose the reason for their visit.
In the second step they indicated which option best describes the car purchase they are planning.
This self-segmenting survey helped us to recognize shopping preferences and profiling business and individual clients. We wanted to check if first time users will fill in the questionnaire or if most of them will skip it and go on to the next steps.
The survey consisted of a total of 3 steps, of which 2 were questions, and the third step redirected the client to a specific subpage, which was defined based on previous responses.
Results
The survey allowed us to better understand what type of customer group visits the website the most. It turned out that the most numerous group consisted of those who were looking for a new company car and were not yet company customers.
- Average CTR was between 16-22%.
