SMS Alert node

This action allows sending a notification in the form of a text message to certain group of users in an automated way.

Requirements


You must integrate SMS account in Synerise and configure SMS gateway).

Node configuration


  1. Click the pencil icon on the node.
  2. From the SMS template dropdown list, select the text message template that is used for the alert.
  3. In the Recipient section you can:
    • Create a list of recipients of the alert SMS:
      1. In the New list tab, click Add phone number.
      2. Type in the phone number of the recipient.
      3. If needed, add more phone numbers the same way.
      4. Optionally, confirm the list by clicking Save list. This way you can use this list in the future.
        Result: A pop-up opens.
      5. In the List name field, enter the name of the list.
      6. Confirm by clicking Apply.
      7. Go to Saved lists tab.
      8. Select the list you created.
    • Choose existing list:
      1. Go to the Saved lists tab.
      2. Select the one lists or more lists of recipients.
  4. To impose a limit on the action, switch the Action limit toggle. Enter a number and from the dropdown list, select the time unit. You can define how many times this action can be executed for the whole automation process (journey), or you can define how many times per second/minute/hour/day/week/month can be executed.
  5. If you want to monitor the entries into this step, switch the Track datapoints toggle on. As a result, they will be displayed on the client card as an event (automation.clientPathStep) and you can use these events to create any analysis in the Analytics module.
  6. Confirm the action setting by clicking Apply.

This example presents an automated scenario triggered by a lead form submission on a specific URL.

  1. In the settings of Client Event Trigger, select a form submission event.
  2. Add SMS Alert action. In its setting define the recipients and the template of the alert.
  3. When a text message is sent to the recipients, the process ends.
