STEP 3 Events usage


You can find and use collected events in many different places in the system, the most important modules are:

  • CRM

  • ANALYTICS

  • CAMPAIGN

  • AUTOMATION

All of them are described below.

CRM

You can find events on customer cards in CRM. Whenever somebody visits a website, adds something to the cart, submits a contact form, opens a newsletter (and so on), an event will be stored on his profile.

ANALYTICS

Using events in Analytics, you can analyze your users and campaign results, as well as prepare segments useful in your campaigns.

CAMPAIGN

When you want to send a campaign to a specific group of customers, you will do it using segmentation. This allows you to, for example, find customers who have visited your website in the last five days and have added a product to the cart but didn’t buy it and have opened your last newsletter. You can use a previously prepared segment or prepare it ad hoc in the campaign module.

AUTOMATION

Events in automation are used in 2 ways:

  1. as triggers: launches the scenario immediately after Synerise receives information about performing a specific action by a customer; for example, submitting a form or reacting to a notification by opening it or clicking a link in it.

  2. as filters: allows customers to go to the next step of the workflow, only if they perform a specific action
