Automatic notification about delay

You can notify people about delays using notice. This brings you a step closer to your customer and it can help you to satisfy your customer’s expectations of getting notifications.

You are able to use Synerise to inform customers that their order will be delayed, instead of calling them about it or waiting until they call and ask about a product. This will reduce call center traffic.

You can also send a discount coupon after a delayed shipment. If the ordered goods cannot be delivered on time for logistical reasons, you can inform customers ahead of time and offer a discount coupon to be applied to future purchases, boosting the loyalty of your customers.

Example of use - Retail Industry

Our customer from the retail industry informs customers whose orders are delayed by sending them an email containing the order number and a brief information when it will be completed. Such information reduced call center traffic.

Results

  • 402 messages bout delay were sent within a week, 159 people read them, so they haven’t called the call center.

How to do it

At this moment, you can do this by importing the customer’s email list with the ID of the order, which is delayed. Then, you can send the email campaign to specific segment. Using the inserts, you can add to your email, the number of the order which will be delayed.

WARNING: In order to be able to carry out this type of campaign, you have to send an event informing them about the delay of the given shipment to the customer’s profile. In our automation 2.0 you can send such information only once for general automation, which will start the customer journey for specific clients.
