Recommendations for unavailable products
It is worth remembering that even if a specific product from your offer is currently not available on the website, it can be a good idea to use it to promote other products.
To do this, it is worth using recommendations of similar products, or products from the same category, to prevent users from leaving the site. If the product your customer was interested in is out of stock, you can show similar products that are available and, in this way, encourage users to make a purchase.
Example of use – Retail industry
A customer featured products that were out of stock at times on their site. To improve the customer experience of users who visited such products, they decided to offer them similar products that were available.
To do this, they prepared an exit pop-up with an AI campaign which contained a carousel of products that could be of interest to users. The campaign was displayed only on product pages where the product was not available.

Requirements
Basic elements necessary for AI integration:

- Product feed that will contain out of stock products

Prepare a AI campaign with similar products

Prepare an exit popup with a previously prepared AI campaign, but in addition, place in JS a condition that the popup should be displayed only on pages whose OG tag product_availability value indicates “out of stock”.
